Christina N. Holbrook, DVM

Dr. Holbrook is a native of Carterville, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University and graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Zoology and Environmental Studies. She received her DVM degree with honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine as a member of the graduating class of 2009. During her time spent in veterinary school, she worked as a clinical pathology emergency technician in the clinical pathology lab and was also actively involved in many student organizations including the production medicine club, exotic animal medicine club, and surgery club. Some of her favorite rotations as a fourth year veterinary student included ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, clinical and gross pathology, and ambulatory medicine. Dr. Holbrook and her husband Luke enjoy sharing their home with their two dogs Molly, a lab mix, and Ben, a Saint Bernard. During her free time, Dr. Holbrook enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding, SCUBA diving and spending time with her friends and family. Dr. Holbrook is very excited to be starting her veterinary career with Capitol Illini Veterinary Clinic and looks forward contributing to the community through the practice of companion animal medicine.
