Dr. Christina N. Holbrook, DVM

Veterinarian & Owner

Dr. Holbrook is a native of Carterville, Illinois. She completed her undergraduate work at Southern Illinois University and graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Zoology and Environmental Studies. She received her DVM degree with honors from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine as a member of the graduating class of 2009.

Dr. Holbrook’s professional interests include both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Holbrook has received advanced training in cranial cruciate ligament stabilization, fracture repair with bone plating and patella luxation. She continues to dedicate her continuing education towards learning the latest in veterinary orthopedic surgery techniques. Dr. Holbrook and her husband Luke enjoy sharing their home with their cat Roscoe and their dog Oscar, a Saint Bernard. During her free time, Dr. Holbrook enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding, SCUBA diving and spending time with her friends and family.

She serves on the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association Board, is the current President of the Animal Emergency Clinic of Springfield Board, and is the current President of the Central Illinois Veterinary Medical Association Board. Dr. Holbrook was the recipient of the coveted Dr. Erwin Small Young Veterinarian Service Award in 2017.
